I’m Nobody! Who are you?
Are you – Nobody – Too?
Then there’s a pair of us!

How dreary – to be – Somebody!
How public – like a Frog –
To tell one’s name – the livelong June –
To an admiring Bog!

  1. Wendy at Retirement on Line says nice things about your blog. I agree. I have put a link on my blog to Half Baked Log. Best of luck.

    • I’m gearing up for retirement, not quite there yet. Scary not only in a financial aspect, but in finding ways to keep busy and not turn into a lump on the couch. I’ll have to read more of your blog and Wendy’s posts to reach that milestone!

  2. thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog.

regarding your comment, i may well be wrong about emily’s poems not saying much to me. what i am more impressed with is the clarity of her writing (as mentioned in my post). the reason i think the poems do not always “say that much,” is because of their brevity. this is not a weakness by any means. the economy of her poetry is amazing, especially for a modern like myself.

look forward to reading more of your writing!
