I’m gearing up for retirement, not quite there yet. Scary not only in a financial aspect, but in finding ways to keep busy and not turn into a lump on the couch. I’ll have to read more of your blog and Wendy’s posts to reach that milestone!
regarding your comment, i may well be wrong about emily’s poems not saying much to me. what i am more impressed with is the clarity of her writing (as mentioned in my post). the reason i think the poems do not always “say that much,” is because of their brevity. this is not a weakness by any means. the economy of her poetry is amazing, especially for a modern like myself.
