Right under the bird feeders, we sometimes put out stale bread for the birds and squirrels. This time, some of it had mold growing on it. My husband made a comment, “Maybe the squirrels will make penicillin out of it.”
The squirrels were not amused, nor scientifically inclined, by the moldy bread. They left a message.
During the middle of the next day, my husband went out on the patio to sit in his chair and watch the bit of nature go by in our yard.
A piece of moldy bread sat on his chair.
Don’t do it again hairless squirrel. This is a warning.
